Dear valued customer:
Yes, another year is gone! We hope you had a great fishing season and successful year 2011. We would like to thank you so much for being our loyal customer and we would like to introduce you to our annual newsletter that will inform you about our 2012 fishing season.
1.) Reservations
We will start taking reservations: January 1st 2012. Our web site www.ladykfishing.com is all set up for taking reservations on the internet, however the starting date for online reservations will be January 15th 2012, because of the volume of phone reservations. Thank you very much for understanding.
Also please note that our policy has always been we hold reservations until 7:00 A.M. if there are walk on’s waiting after 7:00 A.M. Your reservations may not be held however, if your spots are given away there will be no charges on your credit card.
2.) Lady K 2012 fishing schedule and pricing
a) COD fishing in April 2012 out of Plymouth the cost of the trip is $85.00 we leave @ 6AM and return @ approx. 4PM.
b) The LADY K will start fishing from Onset, MA for BLACK FISH starting MAY 1, 2012. SCUP (Porgies) should open on May 15, 2012. BLACK SEA BASS we believe around May 20th 2012. The cost is $65.00 for adults (children 12 and under $45.00). We leave the Onset town pier @ 7:30AM and return @ approx. 3:30PM.
c) We will offer afternoon trips May - June on select days (please call for more information). On those days the morning trip will leave the dock @ 6AM and return @ 2PM and the afternoon trip will leave @ 3PM (possible 1 PM) and return @ approx. 9PM. The cost for the afternoon trip is $50.00 for adults (children 12 and under $35.00)
d) Starting on July 3 - July 6, 2012 Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY we will be FLUKE fishing in Vineyard sound. This is a limited trip (20 passengers only) and the cost will be $75.00 and the sailing times are 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
e) In October we will be fishing for BLACK FISH @ regular times 7:30AM – 3:30 PM and the cost will be $65.00 per person (20 passengers only).
Groups of 10 or more with reservations get a $5.00 discount per fare. However we do require a minimum deposit of $200.00 when making a reservation.
Charter Information: the Charter is based on 40 people. Afternoon charters are available. All charters are required to have a deposit of $500.00 at least 30 days in advance.
3.) Credit Card requirement
We will continue with our credit card requirement in the 2012 fishing season. Upon making your reservation you will need a major credit card to guarantee your spot for you and/or your party, however with this guarantee it is on you to call us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or make any changes to your reservations. If on the day of your trip you fail to appear for your reservations or have fail to uphold the number of reservations, you will be charged 50% of the price of your reservation or the balance there of to your credit card. (We are a small family business and we will look at and have compassion for each individual circumstance before any charges are made to anyone.)
4.) Punching tickets
We will continue with “punching tickets” in the morning. Our customers can receive 6th trip Free. Please note, tickets are nontransferable and all 5 punches need to be on 1 card. Not applicable for charters.
5.) Coolers!!!???
Please do not bring a cooler for your fish, only a lunch coolers are allowed on the boat. We would love to see people coming with 5 gallon buckets or bags. We also sell a burlap bags for $2.00 each. Thank you so much for understanding and for your help to keep the boat safe.
6.) Gift cards
We would also like to inform you about available gift cards. Yes, you can purchase a gift card in any $ amount you want for any of you friends or family members. We also have available T-shirts ($15.00), hats ($10.00) and hooded sweatshirts ($25.00).
