Fishing Reports from the Lady K

Sail Date: 7/29/08
Fishing Report:

Well here's another fishing report for all who are interested, lets start with the fluke fishing it started out good with only one trip that was not that good and today's trip started out that way however in the end it wasn't that bad. The biggest fish so far this season was 9lbs. 4oz. again not as good as last year however still not bad. Now to the porgies and seabass if you ask me this year would probably be the best year I have seen in a while, don't get me wrong we have had our good day's and bad day's and this time of year we always get small fish, however their seem to be alot more nicer fish then in years past. But this new limit really hurts.

Fishing Report:

The end of another week has come and the fishing was getting better, all last week was o.k. everyone got there limit of porgies no problem and after that we would go looking for sea bass and that to was O.K. as well. However Sat. and Sun. were not that good alot of small porgies and very few sea bass. The good news is the fluke fishing is good except for last thursday in which we had very tough conditions to fish under, other than that the fishing has been good, with most people reach there limit no problem.

Fishing Report:

I must again appologize for my lack of keeping you informed. Let me start by saying the fishing from May 16 through June 14 was very good people reached their limit with no problem. Since then thing have been hit or miss with more misses than hit's,until this last week, the fishing really came around but again there is a down side the limit. Also we started fluke fishing on Tuesday July 1st and it was not what we had last year however the fising was not bad with 70% of the boat limiting out. The biggest fish was 6.5lbs no monster but still a very nice fish. Till next week!!!!!!!!!

Fishing Report:

Today was opening day of the 2008 porgie season and even though the porgies have been here for over two weeks they bit very slow today. The positive side even though today was not that good is the porgies are here, it's going to be a very short season and I would hope thing will get really good really soon !!!! Hope to see you soon.

Well the New Year is underway and things are going well, however there are a couple of changes and I just want everyone to be prepared. Our prices will tenetively be going up this year by $5.00 but if fuel prices drop back down below $3.00 a gal. we will return to our regular price. Also they are talking about some further fishing restrictions which I will keep you posted on as they come up.See you soon.

Fishing Report:

Well what can I say, Except things have not been that good I have been having alot more bad days than good. However It seems to me that the bad days are really bad 1/2 -3/4 buckets and the good days like today are really good 1 1/2 - 2 buckets but again like I said before I have had 5 really good days out of 14. So if you like gambleing come on down.

Fishing Report:

The fishing report for this week is I would say much like last year some what, Mon. was not good at all we did not fish Tues. or Wed., Thur was good for 50% of the boat. Friday, and today were about the same not good but not bad, the people who really worked it went home with a bucket or a little better. So suming up the fishing it's not what it should be or what I was hopeing for.

Fishing Report:

Here we are again at the end of another week, and I was really hopeing to tell you again that things have taken a turn for the better how ever it is still very much the same with the exception of today which was not good and let's leave it at that so check again next friday and I'll keep trying.

Fishing Report:

Sorry I am a day late with my report, but these things happen. Anyway, this week I think was definitely better, the quality of the fish that are legal is getting alot better there is still alot of little fish as well. So I would say things are looking alittle brighter however we are still catching the same amount of fish around a bucket.
Reported By: Capt. chris

Sail Date: 7/21/07
Fishing Report:

Again it is the end of another week and every thing is still pretty much the same, the fluke trips have been great and the scup are still slow. However I think or let's say I hope next weeks fishing report will be better in regards to the porgy fishing, because even though this week was not that good we are starting to see more and more nice fish mixed in. So if you have been watching the fishing report don't miss next week because I think it is going to be alot more positive and we are in for a great finish to our 2007 season.

Fishing Report:

Again it is the end of another week and it seems like they are flying by, before you know it, good or bad, the 2007 porgy season will be over. So for all who are interested in the fishing, all I have to say is if you haven't tried fluke or fishing for them now is the time, I don't think there is a person out their who could not catch there limit with fishing like it has been. The porgy fishing on the other hand has been slow, on good day's buckets on the bad day's 1/2 buckets, however August is just around the corner and hopefully things will start to pick up.

Fishing Report:

Once again it is the end of another week and things are definitely looking brighter fishing wise. We did our first Fluke trip on Tues. July 3rd. and it was nothing short of amazing, I have never had a fluke trip before where everyone one on the boat regardless of ability limit out, some of the really good fishermen limited out on the first drift. Also the scup fishing is starting to turn around, thing in the bay are still alittle tight with alot of little fish but over the last three day's I think we are starting to see alot nicer fish mixed in plus we are still seeing a good number of sea bass. Till next week good fish'in

Fishing Report:

Well everyone has been giving me a hard time about my laps in fishing reports, so I figured it was about time I did another one. This is the one I was hoping to write in about a week to a week and a half from now however the big spring run is over. The fishing is still good with alot of people reaching their limit, but there are alot of little fish to contened with. Also for all thoes poeple who have been give me an ear full about my fishing report I promise it will be updated on friday each week, hope to see you soon.

Fishing Report:

For all that are interested, the fishing this week has been nothing short of excellent. The porgies are big and the sea bass are here, although not in great numbers yet,and unfortunately if you have not made your reservations for the spring run it may be too late. Hope to see you soon.

Fishing Report:

This weekend was our first weekend for scup. Saturday we did have scup however it was slow some angelers had a bucket some people went home with only a hand full. Today was a completely different story with most people reaching their limit with no problem and the quality of the fish is outstanding we also had blackfish and a few seabass. So I would say if you want to get in on some of the best fishing of the year you better act soon. hope to see you soon.
Reported By: Capt. Chris

Sail Date: 4/9/07
Fishing Report:

Well, we have started our cod fishing out of Plymouth, our first trip was saturday and the fishing was slow. However I thought the people that work hard had a respectable catch, going home with 30-40lbs. of haddock. We will keep you informed if things realy fire up,hope to see you soon.

Fishing Report:

Again the fishing report is much the same, some good days some poor and it seems to me to be almost consistant 50/50. Alot of nice fish being caught, sea bas as well however there are alot of under size. So I would say if your willing to gamble their are only two weeks left in 2006 for scup in Massachusetts.
Reported By: Capt. Chris

Sail Date: 8/28/06
Fishing Report:

The fishing report this week is not much different than the last one, I would say things are still very much the same. Some days are very good others are not, however I think that even the not so good days are not so bad with most people getting a bucket of fish.
Reported By: Capt. chris

Sail Date: 8/17/06
Fishing Report:

Well the fishing report is not that great we had a stretch of 4 days of really good fishing and now the last two days have not been that good we're back seeing alot of small fish. The big fish down at Nomans are spottie at best, however we still have five weeks of the scup season left and I will keep you all informed when things really pick up
Reported By: Capt. Chris

Sail Date: 8/1/06
Fishing Report:

Sorry! I have not been on top of my fishing report, however there has not been much to report. The fishing took a rapid decline toward the end of june and hasn't been very good until now. I have been fishing in the bay for the last 3 days and the fishing is good, lots of nice porgies and we are starting to see the sea bass again. So if you missed out on the spring run keep in touch and don't miss out on the fall because before you know it, it will be all over and who knows what next year will bring.
Reported By: Captain chris

Sail Date: 6/7/06
Fishing Report:

Well The big spring run is on the down hill slide, and it was a tramendous 6 weeks. Don't get me wrong the fishing is still very good however we are starting to see alot more little fish and the numbers of sea bass being caught is going down.
